Settlement of lawsuit related to a slip and fall on ice of a housekeeper at the mansion-residence where she worked. The Plaintiff sustained a broken wrist that required surgery. The Plaintiff’s wrist eventually developed a condition known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) or complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) which causes intense burning nerve pain. The Plaintiff was unable to work and developed depression as a result. The case involved a claim against the homeowner and the snow removal contractor hired to clear the area where the Plaintiff fell.
